If you are looking for an advanced, widescreen HDTV Llpgradeable television with a stunning picture, all of the latest features, and an affordable price, the Silver Series is for you. Each model’s attractive cabinet is compatible with a wide assortment of custom furnishings, allowing a built-in look. New this year Mitsubishi offers improvements in optics, video signal processing, color adjustments, and an additional format mode to fit standard-shaped video images onto a wide screen. The result is a series of TVs that not only produce more natural, lifelike pictures, but are easier to use by themselves or in home theater systems.

The Silver Series includes:

• Four widescreen models with 42”, 48”, 55” and 65” screen sizes.
• PerfectcolorTM a feature that provides the user with precise, independent six-color adjustments or automatic color correction. See page 2 for additional information.
• New CRTs for improved focus and color purity. (WS-5531 3 and WS-6531 3)
• AMVPTM (Advanced Multimedia Video Processor) for improved up-conversion of analog video signals and lower video noise. (WS-4831 3, WS-5631 3, and WS-6531 3) See page 4 for additional information.
• Three component video inputs with 480i, 480p, and lOSOi capability.
• Eight picture format modes, including Stretch Plus, new this year, which partially expands and crops the picture, then stretches the remaining picture to till the screen. Stretch Plus is ideal for watching 4:3 programs that do not have important picture content near the edges of the screen. (WS-48313, WS-55313 and WS-65313)
• ColorTunedTM Diamond Shield a Mitsubishi exclusive, for screen protection and enhanced picture contrast.
• Auto Film Mode automatically selects 3:2 pull-down compensation when it senses that programming was converted from movie film.
• MonitorLinkTM input — A Mitsubishi-exclusive digital input for the connection of digital video signals that may be copy-protected, and is compatible with the new Mitsubishi HD-5000 AV Receiver/Controller. See page 3 for additional information.
